Kaspa (KAS) faced renewed selling pressure on September 15 following the U.S. Senate's failure to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. A procedural cloture vote ended 49–50, falling short of the 60 votes required to move the legislation forward.
The token reacted alongside the broader cryptocurrency market downturn, sliding below its 200-day exponential moving average (EMA). KAS is now positioned between its 50-day and 200-day EMA bands, a technical setup that leaves the price vulnerable to further declines if selling pressure persists.
Key Technical Levels
The major support level sits at $0.025, a multiyear demand area that could act as a barrier to further downside. KAS previously collapsed from $0.20 in July 2024 to that level by 2026, then rallied toward $0.38 in the second half of 2026 before retreating in mid-September.
A break below the $0.025 support would significantly alter the technical picture and potentially open the door to lower prices. Recovery prospects depend on KAS reclaiming its 200-day EMA, which would need to hold for a bullish structure to stabilize. If successful, resistance levels sit around $0.053 and $0.075.
For now, KAS remains caught between near-term recovery and a potential return to its long-standing support, with broader market conditions continuing to dictate short-term price direction.
