Luxxfolio Holdings, a British Columbia‑based Litecoin miner listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (ticker LUXX), announced a non‑binding letter of intent with Greywick Digital. The agreement, dated October 27, 2026, explores the use of Luxxfolio’s mined LTC to provide institutional liquidity for Greywick’s tokenized Litecoin, cLTC, on the privacy‑enabled Canton network.
Letter of intent details
The letter outlines a proposed seed‑liquidity role for Luxxfolio and a joint exploration of borrowing applications involving cLTC. Apart from confidentiality obligations, the document is non‑binding; any commercial commitments will require a separate signed agreement and each party will bear its own costs.
Proposed reserve model
Under the proposed framework, Luxxfolio could lock portions of its LTC treasury in Greywick’s reserve, which would be secured by published addresses and independent attestation. In return, Luxxfolio would receive cLTC issued on a 1:1 basis against the locked LTC.
Strategic rationale
Luxxfolio CEO Tomek Antoniak said the company aims to maintain a long‑term strategic treasury position in Litecoin while enabling additional institutional trading, collateralized financing and yield‑bearing workflows on Canton. The partnership would allow Luxxfolio to leverage its mining output without selling LTC on public spot markets.
Timeline and risks
Greywick targets a mainnet launch for cLTC in late 2026, subject to the publication of reserve addresses, attestation format and launch sequence. The release notes that holding cLTC introduces counter‑party, custody, redemption and liquidity risks beyond direct LTC ownership, and financial benefits are not guaranteed.
Industry reaction
The Litecoin Foundation described Luxxfolio as the first ecosystem partner for cLTC. Greywick co‑founder Paul Bradley expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting its potential to unlock utility and collateral efficiencies.
