MEXC has announced the launch of MEXC CLI, a new command-line tool designed to connect users' AI agents directly to the exchange platform. The tool allows users to express trading intentions in natural language within their preferred AI environments, with agents interpreting those requests and executing relevant trading actions through the CLI.
The CLI bridges a persistent gap in the trading workflow. While AI increasingly assists with market research, data analysis, and strategy development, users traditionally must manually transition from insight to execution by accessing the exchange separately and inputting trade parameters. MEXC CLI aims to reduce this operational friction by allowing AI agents to handle the technical steps of API access, authentication, and parameter construction.
Functionality and Scope
Once installed and configured, MEXC CLI enables users to retrieve market data, check account information, review trading history, and prepare trades without leaving their AI environment. Key trading actions remain subject to user confirmation before execution, maintaining user control over actual transactions.
The tool currently supports spot trading, futures trading, wealth management, and activities on the MEXC platform.

MEXC CLI extends the exchange's existing AI capabilities, which include AI Rankings, AI Trends, and Smart Chart for market analysis, plus AI Strategy for converting natural-language trading ideas into executable strategies.
