The report assessed liquidity performance across nine major global crypto exchanges based on order book depth, trading slippage, and bid-ask spreads.
Futures Order Book Depth Leads Market
Within the 0.03% price band, MEXC's combined BTC and ETH futures depth reached $21.03 million, the deepest among all surveyed exchanges. This metric reflects the exchange's ability to concentrate executable liquidity close to the mid-market price.
Spot Market Performance
In spot markets, MEXC's combined BTC and ETH order book depth reached approximately $1.35 million at the 0.01% price band, tying for the deepest spot liquidity in the report. At the wider 0.03% band, MEXC's combined spot depth stood at $3.58 million, ranking second. For a $500,000 BTC spot sell order, MEXC recorded median slippage of 0.005%, the lowest in the report.
ETH Futures Execution
MEXC delivered strong ETH futures execution across tested order sizes. For a $500,000 sell order, the exchange recorded median and 90th percentile slippage of 0.003% and 0.007% respectively. For a $1 million sell order, slippage reached 0.008% median and 0.013% at the 90th percentile.
Precious-Metals Futures Performance
In silver futures, MEXC recorded a median slippage of 0.002% for a $300,000 sell order, the lowest among all surveyed exchanges. The exchange also recorded combined gold and silver futures depth of $2.39 million within the 0.01% band and led in silver-specific order book depth.
