The deployment was done under Protocol 26, and it is another test phase to get to other Pi environments.
According to the community updates, Protocol 27 is the last planned upgrade on the technical roadmap of the project.

The network is overcoming previous limitations of the Stellar protocol and enhancing its technology in other areas, supporters say.
The number of testnet nodes has reportedly surpassed 200,000, suggesting ongoing active participation from operators in testing.
Testnet 2 is expected to come next, with a possible Protocol 27 deployment on Mainnet coming shortly after.
A confirmed Mainnet date was not mentioned, so traders are waiting for more Pi Network price news and test results.
Pi Network Price Prediction: Will Pi Coin Hit $0.10 This Week?
As of the writing, the Pi Coin price traded near $0.09506 after gaining 5% during the latest four-hour session.
The four-hour Relative Strength Index is at 77.67, which is a sign of strong momentum in an overbought range.
The Chaikin money flow reading is currently at 0.16 and is still in an above zero range.
Failure to close above $0.095 could send Pi toward the $0.09 support level. This area served as resistance to the most recent push.
