Ripple Prime will provide multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing and financing services to funds managed by Brevan Howard, a global investment manager overseeing approximately $35 billion in assets.
According to an announcement on Tuesday, the expanded agreement gives Brevan Howard access to Ripple Prime’s services spanning both traditional and digital asset markets.
This new agreement builds upon an existing relationship between the two companies. Previously, funds affiliated with Brevan Howard participated in a $500 million investment in Ripple in 2025, a funding round that valued the company at $40 billion.
“As digital and traditional markets become more interconnected, the need for institutional-quality digital asset infrastructure that enables a seamless experience for investors is only growing,” said Alan McGroarty, chief operating officer at Brevan Howard.
Brevan Howard provides investment management services to a global client base that includes sovereign wealth funds, public and corporate pension plans, foundations, and endowments.
The partnership coincides with broader expansion efforts within Ripple's prime brokerage division. Ripple launched its prime brokerage business following the acquisition of Hidden Road for roughly $1.25 billion in 2025. To further fund the expansion of its prime brokerage, financing, and multi-asset clearing operations, Ripple Prime raised $275 million through a senior note offering in August.
