XRP emerged as one of the market's strongest performers after weeks of lackluster activity, briefly tapping $1.76 before stabilizing near $1.50. The recent rally has been accompanied by a sharp rise in network participation.
According to data highlighted by Ali Martinez, active addresses climbed from 47,180 to 356,070, marking a 654.71% increase over the course of several days. Such a spike typically reflects heightened network participation and can occur alongside increased price volatility.
Analyst Casi Trades noted that if a new trend is underway, the $1.20 level could soon be left behind. The analysis outlines potential movements toward $1.78, a possible pullback to $1.30, and subsequent pushes toward higher targets. Meanwhile, Crypto Patel observed that the token cleared seven months of resistance with a roughly 70% gain in a single weekly candle, pointing to $1.55 as a key level to hold for potential continuation.
On the institutional front, US-based spot XRP exchange-traded funds experienced significant growth in inflows last week. After recording zero flows on Monday, inflows rose to $5.81 million on Tuesday and $2.35 million on Wednesday. Activity accelerated further following a US Treasury Department announcement regarding liquidity-support buybacks, with Thursday reaching $13.24 million and Friday hitting $18.38 million, the strongest level since mid-May.
The positive trend continued with $13.82 million in inflows recorded on August 25. Bitwise’s fund led the activity with $8.25 million, followed by Franklin and Canary’s ETFs with $4 million and $1.57 million, respectively.
