The firm’s founder, AJ Scaramucci, described the investment approach as a “programmable reality” thesis, arguing that advances in computing power are enabling biology, matter, intelligence and finance to become programmable systems.
Programmatic Investment Thesis
Scaramucci explained that exponential growth in computing resources is reshaping multiple domains. He referenced “programmable matter,” robotics, embodied AI and emerging physical superintelligence as examples of how technology is turning physical processes into software‑driven systems. The discussion also covered the progress of humanoid robots, citing lessons from Waymo’s autonomous‑vehicle program.
Bitcoin as a Hedge
Within Solari’s framework, Bitcoin is positioned as a core bet against monetary debasement. Scaramucci contrasted the scarcity of Bitcoin and gold with the perceived abundance of the “Mag 7” technology companies, suggesting that digital scarcity offers a store of value in an environment of expanding money supplies.
Additional Areas of Focus
The fund’s scope also includes frontier AI labs, open‑source development, tokenized private shares and novel asset classes such as collectibles, cultural artifacts and even dinosaur fossils, which were mentioned as emerging investment categories.
