Spot Bitcoin ETFs Attract Nearly $1 Billion in Ninth-Largest Inflow Ever

U.S.-listed spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds drew a net $998.95 million on Monday, marking their largest daily inflow since bitcoin reached a record high on October 6, 2025. According to data from SoSoValue, Monday's activity ranks as the ninth-largest daily inflow since the funds began trading on January 11, 2024.

Fund Breakdown and Market Rally

BlackRock’s IBIT led the day's inflows with $381.37 million. Ark’s ARKB followed with $289.12 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC attracted $238.84 million. The inflow contributed to a three-day streak of gains for the funds, coinciding with a broader market rally that pushed bitcoin to its highest price since January at $85,000.

During the current quarter, bitcoin has risen 44%, outperforming major assets including gold. The recent institutional inflows followed a failed Senate cloture vote on the Clarity Act and a Federal Reserve interest-rate increase.

Broader Trends and Year-to-Date Totals

The latest single-day totals brought month-to-date inflows to $1.31 billion, following an inflow of $3.52 billion in August. Market observers noted that the continued activity points to institutional interest amid wider macroeconomic tensions, such as fiscal debt concerns across advanced economies.

Despite the recent influx of capital, spot bitcoin ETFs remain down by $450 million on a year-to-date basis.
