SPX6900 Rallies 11% as $14.7M Exits Exchanges, But Sentiment Lags Price

SPX6900 gained approximately 11% over the past 24 hours as spot traders demonstrated consistent buying pressure. The token has climbed 82% over the past 90 days and 140% over the past 180 days, coinciding with growth in its holder base.

Since August 17, another 470 investors purchased SPX, bringing the total token holder count to approximately 229,890.

Exchange Outflows Signal Accumulation

Exchange activity has provided the strongest evidence of demand supporting the rally. Spot market netflow data shows negative flows, indicating tokens are leaving exchanges for private wallets—a pattern that typically reflects investor accumulation rather than selling pressure.

Over 30 days, netflow reached approximately negative $14.7 million, while traders accumulated roughly $46.64 million worth of SPX during the same period.

Derivatives traders have also shown growing confidence. The Open Interest-Weighted Funding Rate remained positive, climbing to 0.0069%.

Technical Resistance and Weakening Momentum

SPX faced a critical test as the token approached daily resistance levels. The four-hour chart showed the token had already breached previous resistance before moving toward the daily resistance line.

If SPX fails to clear this level, the token could decline significantly. The memecoin fell 21% following its previous encounter with the same resistance.

The Aroon Indicator presented a mixed picture, with Aroon Up at 78% and Aroon Down at 42%. The readings did not confirm a bearish reversal, though they suggested bullish momentum was weakening.

Sentiment Disconnect

Despite recent gains and accumulation signals, SPX investor sentiment remained cautious. CoinMarketCap's Community Sentiment reading fell to negative 3.12, reflecting a moderately bearish outlook on a scale ranging from negative 10 to positive 10.

SPX's mindshare also remained weak, creating an unusual disconnect: capital continued entering the trade, but broader confidence had yet to follow the price movement.
