The acquisition increased the company's total Bitcoin holdings from 29,462 BTC to 32,773 BTC, representing an 11.24% increase and marking the first time the firm's corporate treasury exceeded 30,000 BTC.
The company paid an average of approximately $84,500 per Bitcoin, including transaction fees and other expenses. This purchase followed an earlier acquisition of 2,000 BTC worth approximately $169 million on October 5, which had brought Strive's holdings to 29,462 BTC prior to the latest expansion.
In addition to the Bitcoin purchase, Strive reported approximately $208 million in exercised warrants. About 15.3 million warrants remained outstanding before their scheduled October 13 expiration at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The company also amended its SATA preferred stock documents to establish a minimum issuance price of $100 per share, formalizing a binding restriction on future SATA share sales.
Strive's common shares trade on Nasdaq under the ticker ASST, providing investors with exposure to the company's direct Bitcoin holdings. The company also issues SATA preferred shares on Nasdaq as an additional financing method for treasury growth, though preferred shares carry dividend obligations while common shareholders remain exposed to Bitcoin price movements.
At the time of the announcement, Bitcoin was trading at approximately $83,903.93, up 0.52% over the previous 24 hours but down 2.21% over the seven-day period. This represented a price approximately 0.71% below Strive's latest average purchase price of $84,500.
