ETF Holdings Breakdown
Holdings are concentrated among the largest funds. Bitwise leads with 413.1 million XRP, followed by Franklin Templeton's XRPZ at 293.1 million and Canary Capital's XRPC at 249.8 million. Smaller holdings include 21Shares' TOXR at 107.4 million, Grayscale's GXRP at 59.8 million, Rex-Osprey's XRPR at 35.2 million, and 21.2 million within Bitwise's broader index fund BITW.
During the week of September 21 to September 25, the ETF complex recorded $75.59 million in inflows, with Bitwise capturing $58.99 million and Franklin Templeton $16.60 million.
Ripple's Escrow Release Schedule
Ripple's onchain escrow contains 31.98 billion XRP, approximately 32% of total supply. An additional 4.74 billion XRP sits in operational wallets. The next monthly escrow window opens October 1 and permits the release of up to 1 billion XRP.
Historically, unused portions of monthly escrow allowances have been re-locked rather than released to the market, meaning the maximum release amount rarely reaches circulation.
Market Conditions
XRP traded near $1.48 on Binance at the time of reporting, down approximately 2% for the day and below the $1.66 high reached on September 23. Exchange wallets held 21.14 billion XRP, reflecting a net decrease of 625.9 million XRP across tracked addresses during the week.
Despite steady inflows into XRP ETFs, the asset's price has not pushed through resistance levels. Bitcoin ETFs, by comparison, absorbed $2.39 billion in the same period.
