US Spot Bitcoin ETF Inflows Cool Down
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds brought in approximately $191 million in net inflows on Thursday. The latest figures mark the third consecutive day of slowing daily inflows following a 2026 high of $999 million recorded on Monday.
Despite the slowdown, the recent six-session streak has pushed the combined total past $2.8 billion, according to SoSoValue data. Thursday's inflow total represents an 81% decrease from Monday's peak, coinciding with a retreat in Bitcoin's price from above $87,000.
Year-to-Date and Monthly Performance
The recent streak of inflows has brought the funds' year-to-date net total to approximately $787 million. This performance reverses a 2026 deficit of roughly $5.5 billion that had accumulated by the end of June. On a monthly basis, September has brought in $2.56 billion so far, following an inflow of $3.52 billion in August.
Farside Investors data indicates that BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the largest US spot Bitcoin ETF by assets, drove $163 million of Thursday's inflows. IBIT has accumulated roughly $1.35 billion during the six-session streak, accounting for nearly half of the combined inflows across all such funds.
