Useless Coin [USELESS] rose more than 19% over the past 24 hours, extending weekly gains to over 169%. The memecoin's daily trading volume maintained a 47% volume-to-market-cap ratio, indicating adequate liquidity despite the recent price movement.
The rally followed a three-day correction from the $0.3188 level and was driven by three primary factors: the coin's listing on South Korean exchange Bithumb, a surge in open interest, and significant capital inflows from large holders.
Expansion into Asian Markets
Useless Coin's listing on Bithumb against the Korean won (KRW) expanded the memecoin's exposure to Asian markets and increased trading activity. This development contributed to open interest reaching $146 million, more than double its previous peak of $70 million recorded in October 2025.
Whale and Institutional Accumulation
Large holders showed significant buying interest. A whale transferred 14 million USELESS tokens worth $3.20 million from Coinbase Prime Custody to a private wallet at the $0.215 price level. On-chain data also indicated institutional activity, with over 440,000 tokens moving from Gate exchange to Fireblocks Custody and 2.20 million coins entering KuCoin's cold wallet, suggesting accumulation by serious market participants.
Technical Positioning
Useless Coin traded between $0.19 and $0.30 support levels, with the Choppiness Index at 50 showing declining volatility. The MACD indicator had turned green, though momentum remained limited according to technical analysis. The coin remains 64% below its all-time high of $0.4375.
Support at $0.19 to $0.21 appeared to be holding buyer interest in the near term, while resistance at the $0.30 supply zone could limit further upside if broader memecoin market conditions weaken.
