Worldcoin [WLD] has experienced significant downward pressure, declining 14.92% over the past week and losing 0.2% in the past 24 hours. Open Interest in the token also fell 1.4% during the period, with losses occurring alongside wider bearish market conditions.
Technical analyst Deniz Karasoy highlighted the token's long-term struggles using a 3-day price chart on the logarithmic scale. According to Karasoy's analysis, WLD remains trapped beneath a descending trendline resistance that extends back to 2024. Since March, the altcoin has made higher lows while challenging a $0.50-$0.55 resistance zone, but has not yet broken through the multi-year downtrend. Karasoy described the price action as "squeezed tight."
Mixed Technical Signals Complicate the Outlook
Technical indicators are sending conflicting messages about Worldcoin's near-term direction. The 1-day swing structure appears bearish, with key levels at $0.356 and $0.619. The Directional Movement Index indicates a downtrend in progress, with both the ADX and -DI above 20.
However, other indicators paint a different picture. The CMF indicator stood above +0.05, signaling sizeable capital inflows, while the A/D indicator hovered near September highs, suggesting some accumulation activity.
Key Levels to Watch
On the 1-day chart, $0.355 represents a critical pivot point. A daily close below this level would confirm a bearish structure flip. Conversely, a move above $0.444 could shift the short-term bias to bullish.
The 4-hour structure also remains bearish, though a rally above $0.444 would signal a potential shift in the internal structure. Volume indicators currently show neutral positioning, suggesting demand is insufficient for a sustained bullish move at present.
Traders are advised to monitor whether bears defend the $0.356 anchor. If this level holds and price rallies above $0.444, a short-term bullish bias could emerge.
