XRP faced downward pressure on Wednesday, declining nearly 7% over the past week as the broader cryptocurrency market retreated.
Attention among analysts has focused on $1.43 as a critical resistance level that could determine XRP's near-term direction. According to analyst Steph Is Crypto, XRP has consolidated after a recent rally, forming a technical pattern resembling a bull flag or pennant. A break above $1.43 could signal buyers reasserting control.
If XRP clears that resistance, Steph Is Crypto projects the token could reach approximately $2.10, representing roughly a 56% gain from current levels. This projection is based on the height of XRP's previous advance. The analyst also identified $3.68 as a longer-term potential target if the token breaks through the upper boundary of a broader technical formation.
For the bullish scenario to hold, XRP needs to maintain support above $1.30. A drop below that level could undermine the breakout outlook.
Other analysts offered different perspectives. ChartNerd noted weakening momentum, with XRP testing four-hour support near $1.36 after repeated rejections at lower highs. A break below that support could push XRP toward Fibonacci levels near $1.29 and $1.21.
Analyst Ali Martinez took a bullish stance, identifying $1.70 as the next target and marking the $1.35–$1.38 range as a major demand zone where approximately 3.2 billion XRP had previously traded.
At the time of reporting, XRP was trading at $1.34, down 1.86% over the previous 24 hours.
