XRP reserves on Binance have reached roughly 2.68 billion tokens, marking their highest level since June, according to on-chain tracking data. The token was trading above $1.50 at the time of reporting.
The buildup of reserves coincides with a broader market rally, though analysis of exchange flows suggests the increase reflects heightened trading turnover rather than a concentration of sell pressure from holders.
Exchange Flows Show Mixed Activity
According to on-chain data, Binance's average daily XRP deposits were running approximately 663% above their quarterly baseline in recent sessions, while withdrawals also increased substantially. Despite the elevated deposits, reserves remained only about 0.22% above the quarterly baseline, indicating significant two-way movement on the exchange.
Recent sessions showed Binance netflows turning slightly negative, meaning withdrawals had begun to exceed deposits. This pattern suggests traders are actively moving positions rather than accumulating inventory for a potential sell-off.
Data providers cautioned that rising reserves do not necessarily signal an imminent sell-off. Instead, the increase reflects greater liquidity available within the trading ecosystem, with market observers recommending attention to net flows, trading volume, and price action in determining market direction.
Price Performance and Technical Indicators
XRP was trading around $1.53, up more than 4% over 24 hours and approximately 9.5% over seven days. Trading volume increased 63% from the previous day to about $6.33 billion.
The token's Relative Strength Index had moved above 70, a level typically associated with overbought conditions. While such readings do not guarantee a price pullback, analysts noted it serves as a cautionary signal during price recovery.
