XRP Spot ETFs Record Eighth Consecutive Weekly Gain Amid Mixed Signals

XRP spot ETFs extended their winning streak to eight consecutive weeks, recording nearly $19 million in net inflows for the week ending September 5. However, the weekly performance revealed mounting concerns about sustained investor interest.

The inflows were substantially lower than the previous week's $110 million haul, which had been the strongest performance since early December 2025. The week also saw the first net outflow day in approximately one month, with $7.20 million withdrawn on Wednesday—the first red day for the Ripple ETFs since August 5.

Friday proved particularly troubling, as the ETFs recorded no reportable flows for the first time in roughly three weeks, raising questions about actual demand. Despite these warning signs, the cumulative total of net inflows into XRP spot ETFs reached an all-time high of $1.68 billion.

The weekly breakdown showed $14.38 million in inflows on September 1, followed by Wednesday's $7.20 million outflow and Thursday's $6.14 million inflow. Earlier in the week, August 31 saw more modest inflows of $5.64 million.

The underlying XRP asset dipped to $1.33 during the week before recovering to $1.45 on Friday, settling at $1.41 as of press time. The asset has maintained its position above the key $1.40 support level.
