Bitcoin has recovered from recent pullbacks and is once again testing the upper boundary of its consolidation range, with BTC trading around $81.5K. The $80.5K-$82.5K resistance zone has repeatedly capped upside attempts and remains the primary obstacle preventing another significant bullish advance.
Daily Chart Analysis
Bitcoin continues consolidating following its August breakout, with the latest recovery from the $75K area showing particular strength. Buyers have quickly pushed price back toward the major resistance zone while maintaining support above the $72.5K-$75K range.
The daily RSI has rebounded above the neutral 50 level and is approaching the mid-60s, reflecting renewed buying momentum without reaching overbought territory. A sustained breakout above $82.5K could open the path toward the next major supply zone around $86K-$90K. Another rejection would likely keep Bitcoin range-bound, with the broader $72.5K-$75K region remaining the primary support area.
Short-Term Structure
On the 4-hour timeframe, Bitcoin recently rebounded from near $74.5K-$75K and has returned to the $81K-$82K resistance region with impulsive momentum. However, the market remains inside the broader range despite increasingly bullish short-term conditions.
A clean break and sustained hold above $81K-$82K would likely shift the structure in favor of buyers and could trigger a price spike toward the rising upper trendline around $84K-$85K. Failure to clear $82K could send Bitcoin back toward the middle of the range.
Liquidity Considerations
Bitcoin's surge above $80K has pushed price into a significant concentration of liquidity around the $80K-$82K region, aligning with technical resistance levels on both timeframes. Some liquidity remains immediately above the market, suggesting a decisive breakout could force additional short liquidations and potentially accelerate upward movement.
A liquidity concentration also remains below price around $74K-$75K. The combination of improving momentum and price pressing against the range high puts focus on whether buyers can convert the current test into a confirmed breakout.
