Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) posted a net outflow of $202.59 million for the week through Oct. 30, following a $643.33 million withdrawal on Friday that erased four consecutive days of inflows.
Weekly inflow‑outflow dynamics
During the first four days of the week, Bitcoin ETFs attracted $110.34 million on Monday, $175.99 million on Tuesday, $137.33 million on Wednesday and $17.07 million on Thursday, totaling $440.73 million. The Friday sell‑off reversed this momentum.
Fund‑level performance
BlackRock’s IBIT recorded $176.9 million in net inflows despite a $233.70 million loss on Friday. Fidelity’s FBTC ended the week with $165.97 million in withdrawals. Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB lost $129.55 million, and Grayscale’s GBTC shed $53.32 million.
ETF turnover rose to $6.35 billion on Friday, reflecting heightened trading activity.
Comparative asset flows
Ether ETFs experienced a net outflow of $431.53 million, marking their fifth consecutive negative week and bringing cumulative withdrawals over that period to about $1.65 billion. Solana ETFs recorded a record weekly outflow of $71.47 million, their fourth straight week of net redemptions.
In contrast, Zcash funds attracted $17.72 million for the week, extending an eight‑session inflow streak before a $4.57 million withdrawal on Friday. XRP ETFs posted a net inflow of $4.32 million, while NEAR recorded its first weekly loss since launch, shedding $3.43 million.
Outlook
The data suggest that institutional demand for Bitcoin ETFs remains volatile, with a need for broader, sustained buying to offset the recent reversal. Ether and Solana ETFs continue to face net withdrawals, while smaller crypto ETFs show a more mixed picture.
