U.S. bitcoin ETFs returned to inflows on Thursday with $159.45 million in net flows, marking a rebound after recent pressure on the largest digital asset. BlackRock's IBIT fund led the recovery, attracting $183.66 million, while Fidelity's FBTC recorded a $16.64 million outflow and Vaneck's HODL lost $7.57 million.
Daily trading volume in bitcoin ETFs reached $2.81 billion, with total net assets closing at $95.19 billion. Despite the day's gains, weekly net flows for bitcoin ETFs remain negative.
Ether and XRP Face Continued Pressure
Ether ETFs recorded $39.24 million in net outflows, with BlackRock's ETHA accounting for a $42.86 million exit. Fidelity's FETH and Vaneck's ETHV added modest inflows of $1.83 million and $1.79 million respectively. Trading volume reached $680.45 million, with net assets at $15.42 billion.
XRP ETFs also declined, posting $5.15 million in net outflows. 21Shares' TOXR lost $3.78 million and Canary's XRPC saw $1.37 million depart. Daily trading value reached $19.69 million with net assets at $1.39 billion.
HYPE ETFs bucked the trend, attracting $4.25 million, while Solana ETFs recorded no net flows for the session.
Zcash ETF Records Strong Inflows
The Zcash ETF emerged as the standout performer, attracting $46.56 million entirely through Grayscale's ZCSH. This represents the fund's second-largest daily inflow since launch.
Grayscale announced a 3-for-1 forward stock split for ZCSH with a record date of September 28. Additional shares are scheduled for distribution on September 29, with trading at the post-split price expected to begin September 30. Shareholders will receive two additional shares for every share held, with total position value remaining unchanged at the time of the split.
