U.S. crypto ETFs closed Friday with a broad rally in institutional demand, led by $433.03 million in net inflows to bitcoin funds. The surge extended across multiple digital assets, with ether and solana ETFs also attracting fresh capital.
Bitcoin ETFs dominated the session with Fidelity's FBTC drawing $310.72 million of the total $433.03 million inflow. Blackrock's IBIT added $108.44 million, while Bitwise's BITB, Vaneck's HODL, and Ark & 21Shares' ARKB contributed $9.69 million, $2.29 million, and $1.88 million respectively.
Daily trading value in bitcoin ETFs reached $4.67 billion as net assets climbed to $102.53 billion. Bitcoin's price moved back above $80,000 during the session following a turbulent week.
Broad Institutional Appetite Beyond Bitcoin
Ether ETFs recorded $143.80 million in net inflows, with Blackrock's ETHA leading at $114.32 million and Fidelity's FETH adding $26.24 million. Ether ETF net assets rose to $16.72 billion.
Solana ETFs attracted $47.62 million entirely through Bitwise's BSOL, while the recently established Zcash ETF market drew $37.67 million into Grayscale's ZCSH, lifting ZEC net assets to $914.53 million.
XRP ETFs posted the only decline, though marginal, with a net outflow of $43,700. HYPE ETFs added $1.03 million through Bitwise's BHYP.
On-Chain Metrics and Market Positioning
Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas noted that IBIT ranked fifth among all ETFs by volume during Friday's session, ahead of gold ETF GLD. On-chain data from Glassnode indicated entity-adjusted SOPR remained above 1, a level associated with investors realizing profits while underlying demand absorbs the selling.
