Ripple has entered into a multi-year marketing agreement with the University of Florida, bringing XRP branding to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium starting this football season. Announced by Florida Athletics on Friday, the partnership places the XRP logo on the field, event signage, and digital properties in Gainesville.
In addition to stadium visibility, the deal includes a commitment from Ripple to fund financial and technology education for Florida student-athletes and the broader campus community, covering both traditional finance and digital assets. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
University of Florida Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin noted the institution's history of embracing innovation and welcomed Ripple to Gator Nation.
This initiative follows an earlier multi-year agreement this year that placed the XRP logo on University of Kansas Jayhawks basketball jerseys, marking a continued push by the cryptocurrency brand into major collegiate athletic sponsorships.
The sponsorships coincide with broader business developments for Ripple, which has expanded its payments, custody, and treasury operations alongside the introduction of its RLUSD stablecoin. Meanwhile, market data shows XRP trading around $1.41, reflecting a 34.9% increase over a 30-day period and a 49.8% decline over the past year, while spot XRP exchange-traded funds maintain cumulative net inflows of approximately $1.6 billion despite recent cooling demand.
