Stacks [STX] rallied 7.29% over 24 hours, reclaiming the $0.314 local supply zone after a rebound that began on October 29. The price reached a local high of $0.399 on October 31 before retracing 22.28% in the following two hours, reflecting selling pressure that continued to weigh on the asset.
The recovery originated from a low of $0.268 as selling pressure eased across Bitcoin and the broader crypto market. However, analysts cautioned that the move represents a bounce rather than a sustained uptrend, given weakness in major altcoins.
Technical Concerns Persist
On the daily timeframe, STX fell below its September swing low of $0.30 in recent weeks—a bearish shift in structure. The swift sell-off following the rally to $0.399 underscored dominant bear positioning. Swing traders were advised to exercise caution, with another decline below $0.30 potentially signaling renewed seller strength.
Catalysts on the Horizon
Stacks Labs completed most of its Bond 2 funding through Stacking DAO and the Xverse pool in October, aimed at expanding Bitcoin-native finance applications. The protocol enables Bitcoin holders to stake, borrow, and access decentralized finance without relinquishing custody.
Two upcoming developments could influence STX demand. A Bitcoin staking bonding period was expected in the second week of October, and the Epoch 4.1 network upgrade, targeted for early December, will introduce Clarity 7 as the default language for new smart contracts alongside additional network improvements.
