Strategy has returned to purchasing bitcoin with a second major weekly acquisition in a row, following up on a recent return from a summer hiatus. Co-founder and former CEO Michael Saylor announced that the firm acquired 1,665 BTC over the past week at an average accumulation price of $85,681 per coin.
With this latest purchase, Strategy's total bitcoin holdings have reached 847,666 BTC, which were acquired for a total of nearly $64 billion. Driven by price expansion over the preceding six weeks, the corporate stash is currently valued at more than $70 billion.
In addition to the bitcoin acquisition, Strategy repurchased $152 million worth of STRC. As of September 27, 2026, the company held 847,666 BTC alongside a USD cash reserve of just over $6 billion.
The latest acquisition follows a previous purchase of 950 BTC at an average price of just under $80,000 per unit, which marked the company's return following a three-week pause lasting from the end of August until the preceding Monday. These recent purchases have largely offset the sales the firm completed during the summer, which occurred at prices well under $65,000.
Meanwhile, the price of STRC stock continues to hover at approximately $98.50 after recovering from a decline to $75 during the summer months.
