Strive, Inc. announced a bitcoin purchase of 1,107 BTC for $94.5 million, executed between September 21 and September 25. The acquisition increased the company's total bitcoin holdings from 26,355 BTC to 27,462 BTC.
According to a Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the purchase was completed at an average cost of $85,396 per bitcoin. Warrant exercises generated an additional $12.4 million in capital, with 85% of total capital raised coming from the company's SATA preferred stock offering.
With bitcoin trading near $83,300 per unit at the time of disclosure, Strive's total bitcoin stack was valued at approximately $2.3 billion. The company's cost basis averages around $80,862 per coin across its holdings.
The acquisition maintains Strive's position as the fifth-largest publicly traded bitcoin treasury firm, behind MARA Holdings, Metaplanet, Twenty One Capital, and Strategy. The company also holds 505,000 shares of Strategy Inc.'s Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock.
Strive's cash and USD equivalents increased from $229.6 million to $248.8 million following the purchase. The company's common shares, ASST, which trade on the Nasdaq, rose 32% over the past month prior to this announcement.
