White House Crypto Summit

President Donald Trump convened a White House summit on Wednesday, gathering top administration officials and cryptocurrency industry executives. Discussions at the event addressed federal stablecoin regulation, the proposed CLARITY Act, and the establishment of a strategic national Bitcoin reserve.

Institutional Ownership and Analyst Ratings

Institutional investors hold 59.84% of outstanding Strategy stock. During the second quarter, Sound Financial Strategies Group LLC acquired 51,323 MSTR shares valued at approximately $1.69 million. Additional firms expanded their positions, including Binnacle Investments, which increased its stake by nearly 493% in the second quarter, and Dogwood Wealth Management, which boosted its holdings by 280% in the fourth quarter.

Wall Street analysts maintain a Moderate Buy consensus rating with an average price target of $239.81. Specific analyst targets include HC Wainwright at $325, TD Cowen at $260 with a Buy rating, and Cantor Fitzgerald at $186 with an Overweight rating. Conversely, bearish sentiment is present; Weiss Ratings downgraded MSTR to Sell in early August, and Cantor Fitzgerald and TD Cowen both recently reduced their price targets.

Financial Results and Insider Activity

Strategy's second-quarter earnings report, published on July 31, showed a per-share loss of $24.45, missing the consensus forecast of a $2.19 loss. Quarterly revenue reached $122.37 million, slightly below the $122.90 million analyst expectation, though revenue increased 6.9% compared to the previous year. The company holds a market capitalization of $35.55 billion and a beta of 3.54.
