The company disclosed the purchases on September 28, noting that the acquisitions took place between September 21 and September 25 at an average price of $85,396 per BTC.
This latest acquisition brings Strive's total holdings to 27,462 Bitcoin, solidifying its position among the largest publicly tracked corporate Bitcoin treasuries.
Preferred Stock and Financing Structure
The purchase was funded largely through Strive's SATA preferred stock. According to the company disclosure, approximately 85% of the capital deployed during the week originated from SATA-related financing, while warrant exercises generated an additional $12.4 million.
This financing approach allows the company to raise capital without relying solely on operating cash. By utilizing preferred securities, Strive directs proceeds toward ongoing Bitcoin accumulation while offering investors a security with distinct income and capital characteristics.
Corporate Treasury Strategy
With its growing holdings, Strive continues to climb the ranks of corporate Bitcoin holders. However, financial analysts note that accumulating Bitcoin through equity and preferred stock issuance requires careful evaluation of per-share metrics, as headline totals do not automatically dictate individual share value.
