XRP price has recovered to trade above $1.50 following a sharp three-day rally, with large-holder activity coinciding with the move. Whale balances increased by approximately 1.54 billion XRP tokens over a 96-hour period between September 16 and September 19, valued at roughly $2.2 billion based on prices used in the analysis.
Large-holder XRP balances jumped from approximately 8.1 billion to about 9.7 billion tokens during this period, with the largest increase occurring between September 16 and 17. XRP gained 8.22% over the three-day span. The token is now trading around $1.53 and pressing into the $1.55–$1.60 resistance zone, where on-chain data indicates a significant concentration of previously traded supply.
Supply Levels and Price Resistance
On-chain analysis using Realized Price Distribution shows roughly 2.5 billion XRP previously changed hands around the $1.60 level, representing the largest visible supply concentration immediately above the current price region. Smaller concentrations appear near $1.49, while larger clusters sit near $1.68, $1.86, $2.19, and $2.29.
A move through $1.60 would push XRP into a relatively thinner section of the supply profile before the next major clusters emerge. Rejection at this level would leave the recent rally exposed to profit-taking around $1.50. A break below the $1.25–$1.30 base would weaken the current recovery structure.
Technical Indicators and Market Structure
The daily chart shows a strong recovery from the $1.25–$1.30 region, with the latest advance accompanied by noticeable volume expansion. The daily RSI sits around 64, keeping momentum firmly positive without reaching the 70-plus zone typically associated with overbought conditions.
