US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $643 million in net outflows on Friday, October 30, according to data from Farside Investors. The withdrawals reversed four consecutive sessions of inflows, turning the October 26–30 week into a period of net redemptions.
The funds had attracted $440.8 million in combined net inflows from Monday through Thursday. Friday's outflows left the completed week with $202.4 million in total net withdrawals.
Withdrawals Spread Across Five Funds
Five of the 12 Bitcoin ETFs tracked by Farside recorded outflows on October 30, while seven reported zero net flows. No funds recorded inflows to offset the redemptions.
iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) and Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) were the largest contributors to the day's outflows, with $234 million and $201 million respectively. ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) accounted for $130 million in withdrawals, followed by Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) at $53 million and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) at $26 million.
About Bitcoin ETFs
Bitcoin ETFs allow investors to gain exposure to the cryptocurrency through brokerage accounts without purchasing or storing Bitcoin directly. The SEC authorized in-kind creations and redemptions for Bitcoin and Ether exchange-traded products in July 2025, enabling authorized participants to exchange assets rather than rely solely on cash transactions.
