ZKsync's ZK token gained more than 10% as the broader cryptocurrency market stabilized, outperforming many digital assets. The rally coincided with news of a NextBridge partnership aimed at bringing Prividium, ZKsync's self-governed private ledger for institutions, to Japan.
Technical Resistance Emerges
Despite the bullish momentum, technical analysis revealed potential headwinds. ZK reached the upper Bollinger Band, a level where previous advances have faced resistance and declined. A red candlestick pattern suggested selling pressure had begun to emerge.
If the pullback continues, analysts identified the $0.0124β$0.0125 zone as a potential support level. The middle Bollinger Band sits at approximately $0.0125, aligning with horizontal support at $0.0124. Further declines could test support near the lower band around $0.011.
Bullish Indicators Provide Counterweight
Several technical measures suggested upward momentum remained intact. Bull Bear Power showed consecutive positive readings on October 9 and 10, indicating bulls retained the upper hand. The Parabolic Stop and Reverse indicator positioned dots below ZK's price, supporting the prevailing upward trend.
These signals left room for a rebound if ZK retreated toward the middle band, though holding the nearby $0.0124 support level would be critical for bulls to maintain recovery momentum.
Holder Growth Supports Adoption Picture
ZK's price gains coincided with growth in its holder count, which reached approximately 186,820βan all-time high. The upward trend in holder numbers had developed since mid-September, suggesting growing adoption, though the data did not indicate how much those addresses had purchased.
The token faced competing signals: upper-band resistance suggesting near-term pullback risk, bullish trend indicators supporting recovery potential, and a record holder base pointing to sustained interest.
